It's surrounded by pine trees and Mediterranean scrub and is about 9 km from the heart of Gallipoli, in a quiet location yet well connected to the main towns in the area.

How far is the sea?

The sea is approximately 800 meters from the property's entrance gate.

The nearest coastline is the large bay in front of the property, where you’ll find both the public beach and Punta della Suina Beach, which is easily accessible on foot, by bike, or via our free guest shuttle.

Is the campsite directly on the sea?

No, Baia di Gallipoli Camping Village is not directly by the sea.

The property is immersed in the greenery of the Punta Pizzo Natural Park and overlooks one of the most picturesque coastal areas of Salento.

To reach the various beaches, including Punta della Suina, a free shuttle service is available exclusively for guests, and you can also get there on foot or by bike.

What view can you see from Baia di Gallipoli Camping Village?

How does the beach shuttle work?

The beach shuttle is a free service reserved for guests of the Baia di Gallipoli Camping Village.
It directly connects the property with access to Punta della Suina beach and passes every 10 minutes, with stops close to the accommodations (about 20–30 meters).

Standard opening hours are 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, while during peak periods (generally from the end of June) the service is active continuously from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Does the shuttle arrive at Lido Pizzo?

No, the shuttle only connects Baia di Gallipoli Camping Village with Punta della Suina beach.
If you'd like to reach Lido Pizzo, you can get there on foot, by bike, or by car. Alternatively, you can take the shuttle to Punta della Suina and then continue on foot along the coast.

Can I drive to Punta della Suina?

Yes, you can also reach Punta della Suina by car.
There is a free parking lot reserved for guests of Baia di Gallipoli Camping Village right next to the pine forest, which is convenient for accessing the beach.

Do I have to use the equipped beach or can I also choose the public beach?

No, you’re not required to use the equipped beach.
You’re free to choose between beach clubs and public beaches, depending on your preferences and the kind of experience you’re looking for.

What are the pool opening hours?

The pool is open every day from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with free access for guests throughout the day.

Are pets allowed in the pool?

No, pets are not allowed in the pool.
However, they can stay in the sunbathing area equipped with parasols and sun loungers, always respecting other guests.

Wellness center & yoga

Is there a wellness center in the camping village?

Yes, inside the Baia di Gallipoli Camping Village there is a wellness center dedicated to relaxation and personal care.
Here you can book treatments and massages designed to relax and regenerate during your stay.

Are there yoga classes? Are they free?

Yes, during the season we offer free yoga classes for guests every Wednesday.
The classes are held outdoors, surrounded by the pine forest, to offer you moments of relaxation and well-being in the midst of nature.

What time is the buffet breakfast served?

A buffet breakfast is served every morning from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

Where is breakfast served?

The buffet breakfast is served on the terrace café overlooking the pool, a welcoming space where you can start your day in peace.

What does the buffet breakfast include?

The buffet breakfast includes a wide selection of sweet and savory items, made with local and organic products: sweet and savory pastries, pasticciotti, artisanal cakes, tarts, ricotta and mozzarella cheeses, fresh cheeses, focaccia, whole wheat bread, Salento taralli, organic jams, seasonal fruit and vegetables, as well as hot and cold drinks.

Is the buffet breakfast always included?

The buffet breakfast is included only when choosing the Camping B&B or Holiday Village B&B option.

Can I add the buffet breakfast for just a few days?

Yes, you can add the buffet breakfast for just a few days of your stay, even if you haven't booked the B&B option.
You must select consecutive days, indicating the desired dates (for example, August 10th to 12th) and the total number of breakfasts for adults and children aged 3 to 9.
The price is more affordable than buying directly at the property, and the service is subject to daily availability, so we recommend requesting it in advance.

Is there a take-away breakfast?

Yes, the Picnic Breakfast is available, a take-away breakfast served in a convenient disposable box featuring sweet and savory options and a hot beverage included.

 

How do I book and when do I collect the Picnic Breakfast?

The Picnic Breakfast must be reserved by the day before via our touchless services or directly at the Bistrot.
It can be picked up on the selected day at the Bistrot or delivered to your pitch or mobile home between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM for an additional fee of €3.00.

Can the Picnic Breakfast be customized?

No, the Picnic Breakfast does not offer customization options.
If you have any allergies or food intolerances, please let us know when you make your reservation so we can provide you with full information about the ingredients.

What type of cuisine do you offer in your Trattoria – Pizzeria?

Inside the Baia di Gallipoli Camping Village you will find the Bistrot La Baia and the Trattoria-Pizzeria Casa L'Ariò .
Trattoria-Pizzeria Casa L'Ariò offers seafood and meat dishes inspired by Salento tradition, Gallipoli specialties, and wood-fired pizzas, while Bistrot La Baia offers more informal options, ideal for breakfast, snacks, and relaxing moments throughout the day.

Are half-board or full-board options available? (Breakfast not included)

Yes, at Trattoria-Pizzeria Casa L'Ariò you can choose between half-board and full-board options, ideal for a carefree holiday.
Half board costs €25 per day per adult and €15 for children aged 3 to 6, while full board is available at €38 per adult and €22 for children aged 3 to 6.
The service can be activated directly at the property, without the need for advance booking.

Where is Bistrot La Baia located?

Bistrot La Baia is located next to the pool and entertainment area, in a central location that is easy to reach during the day.

Is there pool service at the Bistro?

Yes, Bistrot La Baia offers poolside service: you can order from your lounger and have it delivered under your parasol, for uninterrupted relaxation.

Is there an on-site market?

Yes, inside the Baia di Gallipoli Camping Village you'll find a well-stocked supermarket, ideal for your daily shopping needs, with fresh produce and options for celiacs and those with intolerances.

What is “Dispensa del Baia”?

Dispensa del Baia, the Food Market, is a space dedicated to the region’s finest products, where you can discover and purchase traditional Salento products and local specialties.
You’ll find fresh dairy products, bread and focaccia, traditional ready-to-eat dishes, artisanal pastries, taralli, 100% Salento extra virgin olive oil produced on-site, and vegetables from our organic garden.

Can I cook on my own?

Yes, you can cook for yourself during your stay.
The mobile homes have a fully equipped kitchenette, while on the pitch you can use your own equipment or rent camping stoves upon request, for a completely independent holiday.

Events & Salento nights

Are events and evenings included in the stay?

Yes, access to events and evenings is included in your stay.
The activities are organized and optional: you can freely participate in whatever you prefer.
Some specific events or experiences may require a contribution or the purchase of a ticket.

What is Live & Street Food Salentino?

Live & Street Food Salentino is the weekly Monday event dedicated to local music and flavors.
From June 15th to September 7th, the camping village comes alive with live music (Italian and dance music), street artists, and entertainment for children too.
During the evening, there will be stands selling Salento street food, which you can freely purchase based on your preferences.
Access to the event is free.

What is the Salento Festival?

The Salento Festival is a weekly Thursday event dedicated to local traditions.
From June 18th to September 10th, the Baia di Gallipoli Camping Village comes alive with musicians, pizzica dancers, street artists, and entertainment.
A free lesson on basic pizzica steps is also planned for the afternoon, open to all guests.

Admission to the evening is free.
You can join the food tour by purchasing a ticket at the reception or by asking the staff or entertainers (reservations are recommended).
During the evening, however, you are welcome to purchase drinks, wine, beer, and cocktails even if you are not participating in the food tour.

Entertainment

When does entertainment take place?

The entertainment program runs from May 30 to September 11.

What is planned for children aged 4 to 12?

For children aged 4 to 12, there are dedicated activities such as games, creative workshops, shows and Baby Dance.
During the season, Bimbo Day is also organised, a special event that includes entertainment, pizza, a baby show and dinner with the staff.

What is planned for children aged 13 to 17?

Sports activities, social gatherings, and evening entertainment are organized for children aged 13 to 17.
After dinner, a dedicated area is available, with staff present, until midnight.

What is planned for adults and families?

Activities are planned throughout the day for adults and families, including morning warm-up, free yoga classes, card tournaments, and group dances.
In the evening, the program continues with shows, karaoke, and dance parties.

Sports, outdoor & active sea

What sports facilities are available at the camping village?

Inside the Baia di Gallipoli Camping Village, you’ll find five-a-side football, tennis (including evening play), volleyball, and basketball courts.
The pine forest also features a fitness trail surrounded by nature, with 14 equipped stations.

Are sports activities free?

Yes, most sports activities are free of charge.
Some facilities may require a fee if booked for private use, such as the five-a-side football pitch, but remain free during organized activities with the entertainment staff.

What water sports can I do?

In the area around the camping village, you can enjoy various water sports, including kitesurfing, windsurfing, wing foiling, SUP, and sailing dinghies. A partner school is also available for catamaran sailing, providing all the necessary equipment.

Excursions & experiences

Do you organize boat trips?

Yes, we organize boat excursions to discover the caves and coves along the coast, with the possibility of enjoying moments such as an aperitif on board.

Do you organize quad bike tours?

Yes, quad bike tours depart directly from Baia di Gallipoli Camping Village and include routes such as Lu Giru, Vaffanquad, and Sotto le Stelle.
A Class B driver's license is required to drive, and passengers must be at least 8 years old.

Is there a riding stable nearby for horseback riding?

Yes, just a few meters from Baia di Gallipoli Camping Village, there's a riding stable that organizes horseback rides suitable for both families and couples, making them the perfect way to explore the area at a leisurely pace and dive into the local atmosphere.

What "slow" experiences can I enjoy at Baia di Gallipoli Camping Village?

Within the property, you can enjoy a variety of “slow” experiences designed to promote well-being and connection with nature, such as the Forest Library, the Organic Garden, and the “Innamoratorio.”
Also available are the Salento Workshop, featuring cooking classes and craft activities, and the “Go Where the Wind Takes You” tips, which help you choose the best beach each day based on wind conditions.

Pet friendly

Do you allow pets?

Yes, pets are allowed at Baia di Gallipoli Camping Village, regardless of weight or size, with the exception of breeds considered aggressive or dangerous.

Where can pets stay?

Pets can stay both on the pitch and in the PET Mobile Homes, where one small or medium-sized pet is allowed per unit.

 

Can pets be left alone?

No, for their own well-being and out of respect for other guests, pets must never be left alone, either in the mobile homes or on the pitches.

What pet services are available?

The camping village offers various services dedicated to pets, including a Dog Park, a Dog Shower, water stations throughout the property, welcome kits and bowls in the PET Mobile Homes.

There is also a video-monitored “Dog Park” daycare service, included in the stay.
Grooming and 24-hour veterinary services are also available upon request for an additional fee.

 

Are there areas where pets are not allowed?

Pets are not allowed in the market or inside the bistro and trattoria.
However, they are welcome in the outdoor areas of the dining venues and in the pool sunbathing area as long as they are well-behaved and respectful of other guests.

Are pets allowed on the beach and on the shuttle bus?

Yes, pets are allowed on the public beach and on the shuttle bus to the beach, provided they do not disturb other guests.

 

Mobile Homes

What kind of holiday do Mobile Homes offer?

Mobile Homes offer an independent, comfortable holiday, immersed in quiet areas of the campsite and equipped with private outdoor space.

What are the check-in and check-out times for the Mobile Homes?

Check-in for Mobile Homes is from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, while check-out must be between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM.

Do the mobile homes have air conditioning?

Yes, all Mobile Homes are equipped with air conditioning.

Do the mobile homes have a TV?

No, the Mobile Homes are not equipped with a TV, to encourage a more relaxed stay in contact with nature.

Is linen included in the Mobile Homes?

No, bed linen and towels are not included, but can be requested upon reservation for a fee.

Are a crib and high chair available?

Yes, cribs and high chairs are available upon request, subject to availability.
The crib is placed in the living area of the Mobile Home.

Pitches & RVs

What is the campsite area like?

The campsite area features spacious pitches, many of which are shaded by beautiful trees.
Some areas also have grassy lawns for added comfort during your stay.

 

How many units can I place on a pitch?

Only one unit can be installed per pitch: tent, caravan, or RV.
A small additional tent is also allowed at an extra charge.

Can I park my car on the pitch?

Cars may be parked on the pitch during the off-season.
At other times, they must be left in the free parking area.
There are designated times for drop-off at the parking lot: from 8:00 AM to 12:45 PM and from 4:00 PM to 7:45 PM.

What happens if I arrive after 8:00 PM?

If you arrive after 8:00 PM, you will be required to park in the Precampo area, and standard rates will apply.

What are the check-out times for pitches?

Pitches must be vacated between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM, leaving them free of trash.
It is best to vacate the property by 12:00 PM.

Can I leave the pitch in the afternoon?

Yes, you can extend your stay on the pitch until 6:00 PM by checking out by 10:00 AM and adding the “Day Use” rate, which includes access to the property’s facilities.

What services are available for RVs and caravans?

Baia di Gallipoli Camping Village offers services specifically for RVs and caravans, including wastewater disposal, drinking water refill stations, chemical toilet disposal, and water refill points in the toilet facilities.
Mechanical and electrical assistance is also available upon request.

What type of electrical outlet is required?

A blue, 2-pole CEE outlet with a ground connection is required.

Is barbecuing allowed at the campsite?

Gas grills are permitted on the pitches.
Designated areas for charcoal grills are available in the common areas.

How can I get around Salento without a car?

At the entrance to Baia di Gallipoli Camping Village, you’ll find the Salento in Bus stop, which allows you to easily reach the main towns in Salento without using a car.
Tickets can be purchased at the reception or directly on board.

Rates, cancellations, Scalapay

Is Scalapay available?

Yes, you can pay with Scalapay for amounts over €400, splitting the total into interest-free installments.

What are the main terms and conditions of the Standard Rate?

The Standard Rate includes:

  • 30% deposit due within 3 days of booking; non-refundable
    balance due within 20 days of arrival
  • for last-minute bookings, 100% non-refundable payment is required
  • changes may be made up to 25 days before arrival for a €100 processing fee

In case of cancellation:

  • up to 20 days prior: 30% cancellation fee
  • from 19 days prior to arrival: 100% cancellation fee
  • no-show: 100% cancellation fee

What does the Insured Rate include?

The Insured Rate includes coverage that provides a refund of up to 100% of the amount in the event of cancellation for verifiable reasons.
It requires 100% prepayment within 3 days and allows changes up to 60 days before arrival, with no cancellation fees thanks to insurance coverage.

What on-site services are available at Baia di Gallipoli Camping Village?

Baia di Gallipoli Camping Village offers a wide range of services to make your stay even more comfortable: a Decathlon store, a tourist information center, bike, motor scooter, and car rentals (including delivery to the property), a 24-hour self-service laundry, vending machines, an electric car charging station, and electric shuttle buses.


Rounding out the offer are the Bistrot La Baia, the Trattoria-Pizzeria Casa L’Ariò, the Dispensa del Baia (the Food Market), the supermarket, a crafts corner, a newsstand, and a tobacco shop.
