When does the property open? When does it close?
The property opens on May 27, 2023 and closes on September 30, 2023.
How big is it?
Baia di Gallipoli Camping Resort covers an area of 30 hectares, many of which are large green spaces left at the guests' disposal.
How far is the property from the sea?
The property is not by the sea. From the entrance to the campsite, the distance to the sea is 800 meters. To get a better idea you can type the name of the holiday village on Google Maps or Google Earth.
How can we reach the sea?
There is a very convenient shuttle service available for our guests, leaving every 10 minutes, included in the price of your stay (timetable 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. - at the Management's discretion continuous hours from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.). There are various stops within the property, positioned so that the distance from your pitch or the mobile home area is in no case more than 200/300 meters. There is also a shuttle bus stop near the parking area, on the beach, near the pinewood.
Is it possible to walk to the sea? Even with children?
Yes, although there is a climb on the way back. Therefore, we recommend avoiding the hottest hours to walk back to the property.
Is it possible to reach the sea by bicycle? Even with children?
Yes, the same applies as for walking. By bicycle, however, it will be very easy to reach a series of quiet coves and stretches of public beach via the paths marked on the map provided by the property.
What if we use our car to get to the sea?
To get to the sea you can also use your own car. In the area in front of the pine forest and the sea, there is a large car park, secure and free for our guests.
Is paid beach service mandatory?
No. When you arrive at the beach, you are free to choose whether to take advantage of the paid beach service on the equipped beach or to set up your own equipment on the stretch of public beach (to the left and right of Punta della Suina).
How far is it to the nearest town?
The nearest towns are about 4-6 km away Mancaversa (2 km), Gallipoli (4 km) and Taviano (6 km). Main distances: Otranto 43 km , Santa Maria di Leuca , Lecce 42 km, Brindisi Airport 74 km; Bari Airport 165 km.
Are there public transport links to Gallipoli and/or the major towns in Salento?
At the entrance to the campsite you will find the Salento in bus stop, an initiative of the Province of Lecce. This service, which runs from June to September, makes it easy to reach the principal tourist and seaside resorts in the Salento (Otranto, Gallipoli, S. Maria di Leuca) and the coastal areas with high seasonal population density (Porto Cesareo, Torre dell'Orso, the Gallipoli Sud coastline, the S. Cesarea coastline, Castro, S. Maria di Leuca). Tickets to travel aboard the Salento in Bus can also be purchased online (www.salentointrenoebus.it).
Do you have a transfer service for the airports in Brindisi and Bari and the railway stations in Lecce and Gallipoli?

Can I rent a refrigerator in the holiday village?
Yes (Info and reservations directly on our website). For car and scooter rental, delivery and pickup directly at the property.
Is there a hospital near the property?
The nearest hospital is in Gallipoli. There is a summer Health Care Facility in Mancaversa (2 km from our premises).
The nearest pharmacy?
Mancaversa (2 km), Gallipoli (4 km) and Taviano (6 km).
Is the holiday village suitable for people with disabilities?
The entire property, with the exception of the Mobile Homes, is accessible to people with disabilities. The beach is also easily accessible thanks to a walkway that leads to the kiosk bar. We are not able to guarantee the shuttle service to the beach but, should you stay here, we guarantee our total availability.
Can I bring my pet with me?
Pets are welcome on our campsite. In the camping area, we accept pets and dogs of non-dangerous breeds, reserving a certain area of the pitches for the exclusive use of groups with dogs. In a limited number of the PET Mobile Homes, we accept only one pet per unit (small and medium-sized dogs - dangerous breeds are forbidden).  We offer a range of services for our four-legged companions, which can be found in the PET FRIENDLY section of our website. We recommend that you bring with you a copy of your dog's vaccination records.

In the event of a stay, please note: They must be kept on a leash; They cannot be left alone on the pitch or in the mobile home; They can take the shuttle bus to the beach but cannot go on the equipped beach; They can go with you to the public beach; They cannot go to the swimming pool area; They must not disturb other guests.
Can I take my boat with me?
Yes, but you will be able to, keep the towing trailer with the boat in the parking lot. There is no driveway to the beach for boats. There is the possibility of mooring boats in the immediate vicinity of the property ( Gallipoli, Mancaversa ....).
Is Wi-Fi free of charge?
Wi-Fi is free of charge in the bar area; guaranteed for a fee throughout the property (a service provided by OSMOZIS).
What are the opening times and/or hours of the shops on the premises (bar, restaurant, market and shops)?
The bar and restaurant are open as soon as the property opens, as is our beach. The Market and the various shops open in June. However, during the low season there is a small Market near the bar where you can always buy fresh bread, milk and other necessities. The opening hours are displayed by the respective managers.
Do you do pest control for mosquitoes?
When weather conditions permit, pest control is carried out at night using insecticides that are harmless to the health of adults and children. As a further precautionary measure, no clothes or other items of clothing should be hung during the treatment, which is always announced in advance.
Is it possible to use the barbecue on the pitch or at the mobile home?
The only barbecue allowed on the pitch or in the mobile home is a gas barbecue (you can also rent one from the campsite). You will find communal barbecues located throughout the camping area and in the mobile home area that can be used only with charcoal and are equipped with grills.
Are there set times for entering and leaving the premises?
The main entrance gate is open and guarded throughout the day. You can enter and leave freely without any kind of time limit.
Can I arrive the property at any time?
You can check-in throughout the day (24 hours a day) at the Front Desk, handing over all identity documents and filling out the form for your group. You will be accompanied to your pitch from 8 a.m. to 12.45 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7.45 p.m.; you will be accompanied to your mobile home from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and only after registration and check-in. We advise you to plan your arrival in advance and avoid the quiet hours (1 to 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.).
And if I arrive during the quiet time (from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. or from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.)?
From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., you will have to park your vehicle and wait for the offices to reopen, as well as to be accompanied to your pitch or mobile home.

After 8.00 p.m., you will have to pitch your tent or park your vehicle (RV and/or caravan) in a pinewood area inside the property, equipped with electric hook-up and a toilet block, also equipped with a hot shower. In any event, you will be able to use the services of the property as soon as you register (with the exception of the shuttle service to the beach).

A stop in this area after 8 p.m. will require payment for the night spent in the campground according to the normal listed rates.
Is there a surveillance service?
Yes, throughout the day.
Is it possible to get half board or full board? What are the hours?

Can pitches be booked?

Yes. The booking request must be made using our online booking system.
What are the pitches like?
The pitches are large and spacious, shaded and grassy (some have lawns). Artificial shade is provided for some of them. They vary in size based on the type of equipment being used.
  • The STANDARD pitch   is equipped with electric hookup up to 6A and has an area of 60 to 80 square meters. 
  • The COMFORT ptich    is equipped with electric hookup up to 10A and has an area of up to 120 square meters. It is very convenient for caravans and RVs > 7.50 m.
Can I park my car on the pitch?
Only during the low season ( period A ). During other periods, all cars must be kept in the car park inside the property but outside the camping area.
What kind of electrical outlet is there on the pitches?
It is a blue, two-pin, European type. If you do not have one, you can buy it at the Emporium in the small square.
How long should the electrical cable I bring be?
The distance from the electricity columns varies from pitch to pitch. We recommend that you carry an extension cord of at least 20 metres. At our Emporium, ready-made cables can be found as needed.
I forgot my tent at home. Do you sell tents?
Small tents, mats, sleeping bags, mattresses and other typical camping equipment are available at the emporium.
Can I fill the gas cylinder at the property?
YES . Gas cylinder rental service at the Emporium . Please note that it is forbidden to keep more than one gas cylinder with a capacity of more than 5 kg in the campground.
Are the mobile homes air-conditioned?
YES
Are the mobile homes equipped with a television?
No, there is no television inside the mobile home and no aerial.
Are the mobile homes equipped with cots?
No. At the property, however, cots without linen and pillow are available for rent if you wish. Because of the limited number, reservations are recommended. Within the mobile home, it will be possible to place the cot in the living room and not in the double room.
Are the mobile homes equipped with bed linen?
No. All linen is excluded and not provided (bed linen, towels and any blankets). If you wish , when booking, you can reserve the linen rental service.
