La Notte della Taranta

Defined as the extraordinary heritage of the Salento, the mother of all Salento folk festivals, the highlight event of the whole of southern Italy!

Certainly the image of the Salento summer is now linked to the Notte della Taranta festival, a real travelling tour.

Two weeks of free concerts, all featuring traditional music accompanied by other musical styles in the various villages of Greek-Salento, as well as Alessano, Cursi and Galatina.

The final concert takes place in the beautiful town of Melpignano.
